I really cant pic a fav, however I have a top 15 Fav. Anime is like a passion to me, I never once thought that I could learn so much from people who dont actually exist to be honest. It's made me who I am today and I have anime developers across the world to thank for that, from Naruto's Will of fire and determination to Kuroko no Baskets sheer display of teamwork. When you've seen as many anime's as I have you just really cant pick, or atleast, I cant xD

I don't really have an anime that I can pick out and say, that's my favourite and I like it above everything else!

But if I had to pick it'd be.. Neon Genesis Evangelion

After watching this piece again, as soon as last week, I felt so much nostalgia that it topped my list of anime again - http://myanimelist.net/animelist/Kyouonee

Why? I can relate to the protagonist in some way and the story's whole concept is just so well made for being a show created during the 90's

I think I have variety to my list by the way, rather than quantity.
But my total is 1224 episodes so far and I still got a lot I plan to watch.

just finished Ao no Exorcist

hmm, what's missing
Kenshin, especially the Movies Samurai X are great, the ending...
Slam Dunk, Basketball, also the most funny anime I know
Nodame Cantabile, romantic comedy, nice introduction to classic music
Basilisk, Romeo and Julia meets Ninja, bloody and really great
Monster, really great Seinen anime, plays in my homeland Germany
Crest of the Stars/Legend of Galactic Heroes if you like Space Battles
Eureka 7, really great Battlemech anime
